Clover's Log

Nyx received Brendel’s message to meet us at a hotel rather than Oman’s house in case the angel is still tailing us. When she arrives, she has been tailed, but not by an angel. Some stinky fog creature has attached itself to her, and we all race outside to be rid of the smell. With that taken care of, we retreat to our room and share all that’s happened over the last day, which feels more like months. After we finally get a nice, long rest, Oman sneaks away with Ronan for some kind of secret meeting with his political contacts. I can only imagine Ronan is the perfect choice for such a rendezvous, charmer that he is. Sigh. For now, we have bigger problems.

We need to figure out how to get to and deal with the Clockwork Nexus.
